Tak minulý týden jsem si trochu stěžovala na počasí. A jen jsem to napsala, vše se trochu obrátilo. V Čechách k mnohem horšímu se spoustami povodní. U nás máme už skoro týden sluníčka a přes víkend dokonce teploměr vyšphal na 24 stupňů (takže na anglické poměry jsou vedra).
Všechno krásně roste (především kapusta) a kvete. Dokonce je to ve vzduchu i cítit. Nám voní díky dvou keřům celá zahrádka a i Joseph si všiml, když jsme v sobotu vyšli ven, že je to venku voňavé ze všech těch kvetoucích stromů a keřů.
Počasíčko a světlo si moc užívám, všechno hned vypadá mnohem optimističtěji a veseleji. Dokonce se mi i chce dělat víc věci a ne jít kolem osmé spát. Tak snad nám to nějakou dobu vydrží. I když předpověď na příští víkend je ochlazení o 10 stupňů.
I did a bit of complaining about the weather last week. It became apparent that our weather troubles were nothing in comparison with those that people have in Moravia (seems like whole towns are under water).
Well, it got much better here, we have had a week of wonderful weather, at the weekend the temperature climbed to +24 Celsius (which is practically tropical for England).
Everything starting blooming and you can actually feel it when you get outdoors – lilac bushes seems to be best and we are lucky to have a couple of them (a lilac one and a white one).
I love this weather, it makes everything so much more cheerful. I actually want to do things rather than simply getting in, making a dinner and retiring for the day.Hope it lasts for a while although the weather forecast for the next weekend (bank holidays) is about 10 degrees cooler.
